Barbados

Barbados was the day that our dream vacation turned a little less dreamy.
As soon as we got off the ship that day I tried sending a message to check in with our moms.
We were never able to get service on our phones so I figured we would just have to check in another day and that was that.
We had catamarans to ride and turtles to swim with, and so that is what my thoughts were consumed with for the remainder of the day.

After our excursion we spent the remainder of the day exploring Barbados.
We went shopping and watched as Heather was coerced into buying a ready-to-drink coconut from our friend on the street.
And yes, we passed it around and each enjoyed a drink or two.
Apparently spending a week together makes germs a non-issue.

Later that night we received the call about Eliza.
Needless to say the rest of the night was a bit of a blur.
I think both of us were a little shocked and we just didn't know what we should do or how we were going to be able to enjoy our vacation after hearing about our sweet girl.
We are so grateful that our moms were in Ohio taking care of the situation and that we had the opportunity to communicate with them as much as we needed.
