Tuesday was our "Day at Sea", and we all enjoyed relaxing on the boat.
Every time we would get a view of our ship from an island we were all amazed at how big it really was.
Every one's favorite place on the ship was the dining room.
Not only did we have what we like to think was the best table and view available, but the food was really, really good. Most of us ordered two appetizers, two entrees, and at least two desserts at each sitting. Plus we had no shame in passing our plates around and giving everyone a taste of our favorite dishes.
And I really don't want to know how many calories of chocolate melting cake was consumed over the course of those seven days, but I know it was a lot.
I was so impressed with the service of every employee on the ship.
Our cabin steward and dining room waiter were such great sports and treated us like royalty; and after we learned Eliza was sick Guest Services allowed us to use a free phone as often as we liked.
They even put us in the VIP debarkation group to allow for a speedy check-out process.
We wanted to stay with our group and since we were staying an extra night in San Juan we didn't end up taking advantage of the upgrade, but we were very impressed with how everyone helped us through our situation.
We ate lots of soft serve ice cream, we watched one too many shows containing sequined thongs and creepy magicians, and stayed up late playing card games each night.
