Off to a Great Start

Probably the best thing about today being November 3rd is that I don't have to listen to or watch political ad campaigns for at least another year!

Wow, could they have been more annoying, negative, and EVERYWHERE? 

I did, however, do my civic duty and vote.  Only because I got to be on the news after, but still...

Okay, that wasn't the only reason, but I do feel pretty famous.

I will give you my autograph later.

Yesterday was also great due to the fact that I was able to speak with him.

Elder H is officially in Bolivia as of about 10 am this morning.

I wonder what he is thinking and feeling about now.

It was so fun to talk to him and hear the changes that have already come over him in such a short time.

I can tell he learned a lot about himself and the Gospel in the short time he spent at the MTC.

Wow, he is going to do so great!

I also attended a fun little party with some friends from church.

It was a favorites party.

We wore our favorite outfits.

Brought our favorite treats.

And traded favorite items.

I brought some of these:

Oh, pearls how I love you.

For I don't know how long I have been wearing pearl stud earrings nearly every day.

I think they can make any outfit look more feminine and classy.

Of course I don't own the real thing (yet), but Forever 21 provides a wonderful pair for only $1.50.

Can't beat that.

Hopefully the two pair I traded will be loved just as much by another.

And we can't leave without a little glimpse of perfection...

Love her so much.

During this month of thankfulness she makes it easy to count my blessings each and every day.

And even if you don't have a little Stella crawling around to make you thankful, try it out anyways.

There are amazing blessings to be had all around if we are just willing to take a look.
