She hung out on the scale, played with the doc, and took her shots like a champ.
The doctor had only wonderful things to say about her. She repeatedly told us how advanced and intelligent Stella was for her age.
How strong she appeared.
And how happy and calm her demeanor was.
All things we already knew, of course, but it is always fun to hear someone else say them too.
And you know the Doctor must be sincere when she actually offers to babysit for you. Dr K has two little boys (ages 4 and 5) and a little girl on the way. She was sure her little guys would love practicing on Stella and we were sure Stella would love her little boys. Anytime she sees a baby, toddler, or full grown child you can expect an excited, high pitched scream to follow.
Stella by the numbers:16 pounds (40%)
26 1/2 inches (70%)
head 90%...to contain that big, beautiful brain of hers...

Stellar tried sweet potatoes last night. So far we are a good 2 for 2 in the war on vegetables.
Lately she has an affinity for short naps and the early morning hours; could fall into the category of techy thanks to her love of all things technology; and is most happy when she is receiving nourishment from the bottle, breast, or spoon.
Stella's first summer seems to have been spent either flying on airplanes or at the swimming pool, but no matter what we are doing she remains happy and ready to learn about the world around her.
We love you Stelly Bean! Thanks for making us smile, laugh, and count our many blessings every single day.
