Today is a day to celebrate the wonderful women in our lives. I celebrate many women for many different reasons today. They have each touched and enriched my life in ways that go far beyond the words on this blog. I am so thankful to be in the company of the great women who have graced the earth with their presence. Those who came before and sacrificed much to pave the way for myself and for my daughter, and those who are currently teaching me how to mother with their examples and love. Last year I spent Mother's Day wondering if this year I would celebrate today as a mother. We had recently decided it was time to expand our small family and thankfully we were soon blessed to know that Stella would be joining us soon. I think she was tired of waiting.
Being a mother is so much more than I ever imagined. So much harder, but in so many ways it is so much more wonderful. In three short months motherhood has already taught me more patience and faith and brought me more joy and laughter than any person should be lucky enough to experience. I am so thankful for this blessing, this calling that the Lord has entrusted me with. I can't wait to see how much more I get to learn and grow throughout this life and the next.

This is a late Happy Mother's Day wish. But we wish all Mother's, especially you Taryn, many more to come.Yes, it is a wonder and a blessing to be a Mother. Just to watch your babies grow and then one day become a Mother with a babe of her own. What a wonderful thing to see and be so proud of our babies. Grandma Tresa
