Dear Swine Flu,Thank you so much for rearing your ugly snout the exact week we decided to go to this lovely destination. To make matters worse I received my passport in the mailbox the same day the US government was urging us not to travel across the border to the lovely beaches of Playa del Carmen. Well swine flu...you loose. We are still going. And I can't wait.
Sincerely,
An Ecstatic Foreign Traveler
Dear USU Dietetics Girls,
You graduated! With out me :( But I am so proud of you. You are going to be the best dietitians around. Good luck with all your future adventures. I am glad we will all be friends for life.
Sincerely,
A Former/Current Smart Girl
Dear The Ohio State University College of Dentistry,
Thank you for turning my husband (and my kitchen) into a technician and laboratory of teeth. This is how he chooses to spend his Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...Friday, Saturday...okay I think you get the idea. He was really excited to find good use for the head lamp he received for being an exemplary employee at Thermo Fisher Scientific last year. Dental school is way fun.
Sincerely,
A Dental School Widow

Dear Abbey Church Village,
I am really mad you raised our rent 10%. In return we turned our apartment into a dental lab. Take that.
Not-so-sincerely,
A Disgruntled Tenant
You don't know me, but I know you. I watched you throw a no-hitter against Michigan on May 2, 2009. It was amazing. Thank you for helping me feel just a fraction of what my husband feels about baseball everyday. You rock.
Sincerely,
Your Biggest Fan
Thanks for coming to Ohio to visit us. Although the weekend went fast and we didn't get to eat a Thurmunator, we still had a blast. So feel free to come back anytime. Keep on keeping on in Philly. We are proud of you no matter what.
Sincerely,
Your Favorite First Sister-in-Law (and your brother)

Dear Franklin County WIC/Fairfield Medical Center,
Thanks for interviewing me last week. Now could one of you hire me so I can stop stressing. It would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,

this is quite possibly the best post ever. i loved it.
good luck with those jobs! that is so stressful.
You are so creative with your posts! I love it! I hope the job thing works out, that would be so nice.
haha... Yet another entertaining post by the once-aspiring author, Taryn the great. Chatted with your mom the other day and heard about the reinstatement of the Cancun excursion! SO glad you guys are going to brave the Swine. And, by the way, Scottie said x-nay on the face masks. Speedo is the only wardrobe the man needs.
What a cute post!
You will be a great dietitian, good luck with the job hunt.
I hope you get a job and have fun in your travels!!!!
The part about your house being a lab made me giggle because on my very first day in Virginia (missionary style) we went to a member's house to get some extra blankets for the apartment. Well, It was chaos and in the middle of said chaos the husband was doing dental work on a daughter in the kitchen. Which was WEIRD especially since I didn't know he was a dental student. This is what you have to look forward to!!! :)
HA HA!!! I love it! Thanks for making me smile.
I agree with the first comment, this is the best post ever. I about died laughing. I love the head lamp, and the fact that you turned your apartment into a dental lab. That'll show 'em. PS We really want to go to a baseball game with you guys, so next time you go, call!
Fun post! The countdown begins to beach days! Congrats on almost being done with school, and for your future job with WIC! I'm sure you'll get it...you rock in the world of dieticians!
Hey Tar,
I know you will get a job as a dietician, but you can always be a writer. All of the Chubbuck school teachers wanted to make sure you were still writing. I told them to get on your blog. It was cute. Kyrst and I ran around all day doing errands. Her car was in the shop being fixed from the loose tire. We missed you but decided when we come to Ohio and Washington we will have some fun days and all get a pedicure!! Wow, we will see you guys soon. Love Mom
PS- about the speedo....well?
What a cute post! I love it!
Yay for Mexico, yay for graduation, yay for future job, and yay for getting through our first year of Dental school.
I am glad that I can rely on one person who doesn't just brag about their family on their blogs, but actually entertains me while keeping me updated on their life. Great post... Amy would be so proud!
