Our final monthly review until the big first birthday! I can't even believe it. Time has really flown with this one, but it has been such a joy these past eleven months.
In my Instagram update this month I admitted that the babe has officially hit the curious and clumsy stage. She is everywhere and getting into everything. Toilet paper rolls are no longer safe, the dishwasher is suddenly a jungle gym, and clothing drawers will remain unorganized until further notice. She wants to keep up with the big girls, and she has had many bumps and bruises to prove it.
Her sleeping is getting much better, with most nights consisting of only one wake up call between 3:00 and 5:00 am. She started whole milk in a sippy this month (I'm such a rebel these days) and is doing great with it. Still nursing three to four times per day, mostly as her way of falling asleep before naps and bedtime. And yes, her mouth is open in a look of surprise 99% of the time.
We decided to switch her to the larger car seat in an effort to help her enjoy long car rides a bit more (and because we were just leaving her carrier in the car all the time anyways). She's still rear facing so I'm not sure it's helped, but she loves having a little bit better view of her big sisters in the backseat.
We love you, baby girl! Bring on the first birthday!
