It seems that our sweet Ivy girl grew so much from month nine to month ten. Size-wise not so much (well, she made the jump from size 2 to size 3 diapers, so that's something!), but her bag of tricks certainly expanded.
She traded the worm scoot for the full on, hands and knees big girl crawl.
Her new favorite trick is pulling herself up on stuff- furniture, the dishwasher, mom's legs, whatever she can get her hands on.
At ten months young Ivy Jo was taught where her true allegiances will lie--specifically the Buckeyes and the Aggies.
And she sprouted four new teeth (all on the top) to better help her enjoy the wide variety of foods she eats on a daily basis. She is sort of a bottomless pit and will eat and eat and eat until we finally cut her off. Those teeth caused a few problems during a week of nursing, but those have thankfully resolved. And yes, that means baby girl is still nursing, which is a total record over here. I'm happy that life has allowed for us to keep going longer this time around (i.e. no deaths in the family or extended hospital stays for RSV).
She's tiny, but feisty. The quote "Though she be but little, she is fierce" comes to mind. When she doesn't get what she wants she screams (loudly), she still doesn't sleep through the night, and long car rides aren't really her forte. But she is our sweet Jo Jo and we love her beyond measure. We just wish she would stop growing up so fast!
