Baby love went ahead and turned eight whole months old back on July 17th. She is doing her best to keep up with big sisters 1 and 2, which causes a bit of surprise when people see our tiny little lady eating real food and scooting around like it's her job.
Not too much changed from months seven to eight. She is eating anything and everything, getting closer to crawling on all fours (I swear I've said any day now for a month), and is babbling up a storm with her "mamas" and "dadas." Still not sleeping well at night, but taking great naps to make up for it. You win some, you lose some. Her current favorites: big sisters' disco ball, early morning stretches, and taking her turn with the big kid toys.
Ivy and mom got to spend five whole days together in Texas, and it was so fun getting some one-on-one time with the babe. She is such a go-with-the-flow type of gal, and she did great on all of our adventures-- including her first airplane rides!
This baby girl keeps us all smiling and saying the words "so cute" about a million times each day. From day one she has been the perfect addition to our family, and we don't even remember what life was like without her.
