April was lovely. I feel like we are in this weird place where time is flying and crawling in the same instant. But May is here, and my calendar is quickly filling with places to be and things to do.
April started with my birthday, the big 2-8. It was a great day and I was able to spend it with my sweet mama who made the drive to take me to lunch and make me feel special. Later that week we were able to head to Utah where we enjoyed conference, Palmer family pictures (and matching shirts), cabin visits, and romantic proposals! Grady and Taigen are officially engaged and we are all so excited for July and their lovely wedding. We love Grady and we are happy he will soon be a permanent member of the family.
Stella and Liza enjoyed Easter packages from Nana and Papa P, naps on the bedroom floor, a few tantrums for good measure, snuggles with great grandma Carole, and a successful trip to the dentist. Stella's first attempt at a cleaning did not go so well, and Eliza had never been. I was also getting my teeth cleaned so I was nervous for the whole deal. I am so very happy to report that both girls passed with flying colors. No tears shed and no cavities to speak of.
Overall it was a good month full of happy moments. Here's to May and a little more warmth.
