The title about sums up what life is like after two months with this little bug.
Many days I could also add screaming to that list.
Eliza has been both a very similar and a very different baby than her big sis, Stella.
Stella spit up a lot. So does Eliza.
We never put Stella on any meds, but have tried two different kinds with E.
My reviews are mixed as she still spits up for nearly an hour after most feedings, but the added fussiness has decreased.
The past few days seem to have been a little better when it comes to soaking outfits, the car seat, the couch, or whoever may be holding her at the moment; but I won't be putting away the burp cloths anytime soon.
Stella was a great sleeper, and so is Eliza.
Before our trip west she was consistently sleeping 5-6 hours stretches, and since our first night in Utah has now been sleeping 8-9 hours each night.
I don't know how I have been so lucky as to get two children who love sleep as much as I do.
We visited the doctor just before we left for an early 2 month check-up.
Lil Sis weighed in at 9 pounds (25%) and was 20 1/4 inches (3%), but I am sure she has gained at least a pound or two since then. She is growing way too fast!
She also received her first round of immunizations in an effort to make us both feel a little better during our travels.
Being Eliza's mom has been such a blessing in my life and her addition to our family had been perfect.
Her unique personality is beginning to form as her smiles become more frequent and her gaze can be held for more than a few seconds at a time.
Her fussiness is starting to subside for the most part and I am so enjoying my happy baby.
I love how her presence has also transformed my love for Stella as I watch her act out the role of big sister.
It may sound strange, but I can feel myself embracing my role as a mother more fully since the addition of Eliza to our family. I want nothing more than to be spending time with my girls and making our house a home.
Life is just better with her in it.
