Eliza Scott: Three Months

Three months later and I'm still kind of obsessed with this girlie.

 (as will be evidenced by the many pictures below)



My heart breaks a little whenever I think about how fast time is passing us by.

She recently tried out the Bumbo with mixed reviews.

I will publicly admit right here and now that I have been an awful mother when it comes to tummy time.

Thus, the neck strength probably isn't what it should be at this point.

Don't you all worry, we are working on making it a regular occurrence once more.



Miss Eliza is starting to become more and more interactive with each of us.

She loves to talk and blow bubbles, and we even coerced her first laugh out of her on her three month birthday.

We all (big sister included) love to give her attention and it seems that she is taking a liking to her popularity as the last few days have been full of tears whenever she is left alone for a moment or two.



Love from sister comes in many forms, but Eliza usually takes most of it like a champ.

She didn't enjoy her turn wearing the princess crown quite as much, however.

I couldn't help but laugh when I discovered what the fuss was about and walked in to find Queen Stella crowning her predecessor.

We are working on boundaries, but Stella just thinks it is too fun (and her responsibility) to make sister dance or wipe some drool from her face.

Sister is still sleeping great, spitting up lots, and growing way too fast.

I know it is time to bust out the 3-6 month onesies, but I just can't bring myself to do it just yet.

Where did my little 5 pound bug go?



I am grateful for Ryan's constant reminders about how fun each stage is, because right now I just want to bottle up those droopy eyes, lavender smells, and snuggles that fit perfectly in my arms and keep it all forever.

But I guess that is what all these pictures and words are really for- our own little preservation of the sweetest moments life has to offer.
