In the Kitchen

We learned a few things during our time in the kitchen:

1.  Stella continues to be afraid of anything (big or small) with a loud motor.  This includes 99% of the nearly fifty airplanes that fly over our apartment each day, as well as nearly every small appliance in my kitchen.  She started crying as soon as I plugged in the Kitchen Aide.

2.  One would be hard pressed to find anything cuter in the world than a toddler tied up in mommy's apron with a dab of flour on her nose.

3.  There continue to be numerous reasons why I should not bake.  Messes, mess ups, and far too many sweet treats lingering around my kitchen are just a few of them.

4.  I am now even more excited than ever to give Stella her Christmas present.  Let's just say my sous chef should be getting in plenty of culinary practice in the coming months.

Happy Baking!

Cute post. Miss you guys. Had a lot of fun baking with you guys. I have been trying out various frosting recipes for jeffs ward on Sunday. We will have to make some more cookies when you get here. Made a yummy one with cream cheese, just can't seem to get it to set up. I am wondering if it is the cream cheese that keeps it soft. Anyway, miss those little girls. See you soon.

Soooo darling!! I'm not brave enough to cook with Hazy!! I'm a terrible cook as it is so adding a toddler seems like a bad idea :)

I would agree with you, that picture of her with the flour on her nose is scrumptious. You are such a good mama.

Oh my gosh that one of Stella with the flour on her nose is so cute!! She looks so concentrated squishing the dough, love it :)
