I always knew my dad was a stylish guy.
Looks like Stella seems to have the same affinity for the fedora as he did.
I always miss him a little more on Sundays.
But in the same breath it is the day that without fail, I am yet again reminded that we will be together again if I can do my part.
The Spirit bore witness to me many times today that I need to do better.
I need to do the simple things that always seem to be so hard for me.
The things that are going to bring me peace and give me direction.
And at a time in life when many unknowns stand in our path those are two things that my soul is desperately seeking.
I am so glad life is meant for improvement; that just as the Gospel is not stagnant neither are we meant to be.
That I can be reminded of the important things.
That I can feel the love of my dad, who I miss oh so very much, through the smile of my daughter and the light that shines from her steel blue eyes that she inherited straight from him.
Today, I am grateful for my two angels.
The one watching over me from above, and the one here on earth who reminds me daily that there are so many reasons to be happy.

I know they look alike but every time you show a side by side picture of it, it surprises me. I can't think of a better reminder of your Dad than through your sweet Stella. You are wonderful. Love you lots and lots!!!!!!!
I really just got the shock of my life. Stella & Scott's pictures side by side. WOW is all I can say. I didn't realize how much she looked like him. And yes, they are two perfect angels and we love them both very much. Grandma & Grandpa
