Wow.
You guys are so great.
Look at all that blue!
I received so many texts, pictures, blog comments, and facebook messages in support of our Dress in Blue Day.
Once again you guys have amazed me with your love and support.
Over the last four years your love and kindness has literally lifted my family and I in our darkest of moments.
There have been some tough moments dealing with this awful disease, but we have never felt more loved by our friends, family, and complete strangers.
I know wearing a blue shirt is a very simple act, but it means so much to us.
I know you guys wore your blue in support of our family, in honor of our father, and for some of you for many others that you have loved and maybe even lost.
A little blue goes a long way.
Of course we are still grieving and dealing with the loss of our husband, father, and grandfather.
We have hard moments every day.
We still cry.
We still ask why.
And I know many of you are still grieving as well.
You lost a brother.
An uncle.
A coach.
A teacher.
A friend.
And his loss is felt and mourned by so many of us each day.
And yet through your own tears and feelings of hurt you continue to reach out to our family.
To pray for us, send us little notes, make a simple phone call, wear a little bit of blue.
You guys mean the world to us.
From the very bottom of our hearts we thank you.
For everything.
Hopefully someday we can repay each of you when you are in need.
Hopefully we haven't missed our chance.
