I love getting a snow day in college! It is true that Ohioans tend to be a little overly dramatic about their weather, but today I don't mind one bit! And as you will see from the pictures below the true problem wasn't really the snow...it was the 1 inch thick sheet of ice that completely covered our cars, the roads, and everything else that stood in its way!
It seems like everyday some school has a snow/cold day or at least a two hour delay, but we never get lucky enough to have classes cancelled at
OSU. This morning I knew we had a chance so when we woke up at 6 am I checked my email right away and....SNOW DAY! I don't think Ryan believed me for a little while which I can understand...who knew you got a snow day in dental school? But after checking his email a few times and emailing some of his teachers he too was able to feel the sense of joy I was as I pulled my sweatshirt on tight and snuggled underneath my 4 blankets. Yes, I am very cold all of the time. Our neighbor is a Taxi driver and from about 5:45-6:15 am kept trying to get his Taxi unstuck. Finally Ryan bundled up and went and helped him get it unstuck. Awe, what a nice guy I get to hang out with! I love him!
So instead of school we watched The Sandlot in our
PJs and made a much needed trip to the grocery store after Ryan spent 30 minutes peeling the ice layer from our car. Now we get to watch the Buckeyes beat Michigan in basketball, dream of being on American Idol (in
SLC!), and oh yeah study of course!

Shouldn't every Wednesday be a snow day! I'm glad you guys got a chill day as well! It is so nice to just lounge around without ary worries! Hope you have a good rest of your week and we'll see you Sunday for the Superbowl!

How fun! Snow days are so great. Its too bad out here in Utah everybody has to be so used to the snow. Miss you guys!
LUCKY!! We have two hour delays.. nothing has happened yet! Haha. I was watching the SLC American Idol tryouts and thought of you the whole time! I miss you. I will post a picture of my hair sometime soon.. Call me. :) Love you lots.
For the past three years OSU has only been canceled once a year so I am sure it was a nice surprise. I swear the Elementary school is either cancelled or on a two-hour delay once a week. It is a bit ridiculous
