This pregnant woman's comfort food: queso dip and a very large Dr Pepper.
Just pretend you don't know I am a dietitian.
Found out today that they need to spray our apartment again in effort to ensure they completely eradicated the little black bugs that now haunt my dreams (not kidding about the dreams nightmares).
There are lots of issues regarding this matter that stress me out, but the main one is the fact that I am going out of town for three weeks starting Saturday.
That leaves me one day (1) to once again pack up my entire house, finish laundry, and pack for a trip across the country.
Ryan doesn't come for a week, but that week apart consists of finals and an extra class that will take up his entire week.
So little time to get done what I can't seem to imagine being able do in the next 36ish hours (and that is being generous)
Plus he won't be home until 8 pm tonight.
Plus he was supposed to have the afternoon off tomorrow so that we could go to the pool, but now has a patient instead.
Although tomorrow afternoon will now probably be spent getting our house ready for extermination #3 anyways.
Plus I was really rude to the lady on the phone from the extermination company.
Like I am embarrassed at my sasss-a-frass attitude, especially because I know she didn't deserve to have all of my frustrations taken out on her.
Sorry about that ma'am.
Plus I have a bad cold and I haven't had a good night's sleep in about a week.
Plus I am just pregnant and hormonal.
Plus my daughters new favorite past time is pulling everything out of the office supply drawer, which she is currently doing right now.
Why I am sitting here telling you all of this instead of actually doing something about it?
I am not really sure.
Probably because I think if I ignore it all it will go away.
And because this is my blog pity party, and I can cry if I want to.

I loved this post! It reminds me of a time not so long ago when my little boy would be pulling everything out of the drawers. We just dropped that "little boy" off at the MTC yesterday. Treasure these days for they are gone so fast! Hang in there with the bug situation, I'm sure those little critters are already long gone and you can sleep soundly again when you come home. I love reading your blog. Thanks for sharing. I love your perspective!(I'm Heather's aunt in case you forgot)
hahaha oh man. no bueno. all of it.
wish i could see you in t minus 1 day!
Oh no! I hope you're able to get everything done! And just think - when you're on your trip, you can relax! Yay!
Thank you, Taryn! I having been feeling sorry for myself this week, too, and I'm not even pregnant, which is a legitimate excuse to be whiney. Some days, don't you just feel like curling up in bed with a good book for the duration of sunup and let the children, house, and husband fend for themselves? Haha. I hope so, because I sure do. But, the truth is, it's okay 80% of the time. It's just the other 20% that really makes me feel like I deserve an escape to the Bahamas or somewhere else really, really far away. Haha. Speaking of far away, you're coommmiiing Saturday and I'm pretty excited. Let's go for a walk with our babies.
Not a great day...I'm sorry. Sometimes it just seems like its one thing after another. Well I will be wallowing in self pity for the rest of June, wishing I was getting to see you guys. Good luck with the bugs, and hopefully 3rd time will be the charm.
I'm sorry Taryn...no fun, no fun at all. But on the bright side you will be home tomorrow! We will miss you guys while you are gone, but will be thinking of you as we bask in the sun at Zoombezi the next few weeks. Have a good flight!
Ha ha... You crack me up! Things will get better soon! Enjoy your queso! :)
Good luck with it all Taryn! Be sure to eat lots of comfort food if it helps! I got grumpy at a cashier yesterday. (even though it was her fault)It was an accident but I just can't seem to be civil right now-darn it! What can you do?
man that stinks. I wish I could just run up there and help from down here in atlanta! I wonder how far it really is to Ohio? good luck!!!!
Tar, you crack me up! I know it's not funny, but I laughed any how:) So sorry about having to pack your house up AGAIN!?! I totally know what you mean about having a sass-a-frass attitude, I have regretted that many a time. You are awesome! I will pray for you that all goes smoothly...Good luck!
